El sábado que viene mi mejor amiga se casa. Qué ilusión y qué ganas de que llegue el día! Nos conocemos desde que teníamos 6 años y desde entonces hemos sido mejores amigas. Es una persona excepcional que siempre esta allí... es más que una amiga, es como una hermana. Estoy muy feliz e ilusionada por ella! Será un día espectacular seguro!

El primer montaje que hice fue precisamente para ella hace un pare de años... combiné cupcakes & cookie pops sobre una base de porexpán rectangular forrada con papel de seda azúl.

Utilicé icing más líqudo de colores vivos (glasa líquida) para decorar las galletas combinando dos colores en cada una. Para los cupcakes utilicé buttercream frosting con toppings de chuches y detalles con fondant (para hacer las letras y el 25).

Importante!: No coloquéis galletas directamente sobre papel de seda... se mancha con las galletas ya que absorbe la mantequilla ;)

Final result

My best friend is getting married this Saturday. I’m so excited! I can’t wait for the day to arrive! We met each other when we were 6 and we’ve been best friends ever since. She is an amazing person whom I can always count on… She’s more than a friend, in a way she is like a sister. I’m very happy for her! 

The first set up I made was for her birthday a couple of years ago. I combined cupcakes & cookie pops on top of a Styrofoam rectangular base y covered with blue tissue paper.

I used liquid icing in lively colors to decorate the cookies – I combined 2 colors per cookie. For the cupcakes I used buttercream frosting and topped it with candies and fondant details (letters and number 25).

Cookie Cutters used: different sized circles for the cookies & letters and numbers for the fondant details.

Important tip!: Don’t place the cookies directly on the tissue paper… they will stain the paper because it absorbs the butter ;)
